| Following a vicious paintball fight in eastern Thailand, Brandon Lehman's Runtime Error defeated Steve Lukather's Runtime Error, winning the battle to gain control of the band name. Lehman's RE won, however in an interview with Quite-Good.fm, he confirmed that they would not be using the band name any earlier. According to Lehman, "the whole name thing has gone a little far, I mean, we don't need the name Runtime Error in order to be liked by people, and the debate over who gets the name is just pushing us and Luke's band apart. Maybe we should do the right thing and let the Runtime Error be, otherwise the both of us are just defiling the legacy of a band that produced such amazing music for so long. I hope Luke and co. agree with what I'm trying to say.". He also confirmed he would never take part in anything Runtime Error again.
Steve Lukather was also interviewed, telling the world his incarnation of Runtime Error would stay as Runtime Error.
Since these interviews happened, Brandon Lehman has taken part in another interview.
Interviewer: Hey again Brandon, good to have you back. Brandon: Good to be back. Interviewer: How do you feel towards Lukey's reply to you in his interview? Brandon: I don't know. I think he could've been a little more grateful, but I guess he was probably just worn out. I don't blame him, his side put up a great fight. And anyway, after all the work they've done, they deserve the band name. I really hope they do well with it. Interviewer: That's very noble of you. So what's next for you guys. Brandon: We've talked it over, and we've decided to form the next incarnation of the Jake Adjutant Band. Interviewer: Wow! I can't wait to see what you come up with. Brandon: Thanks! Interviewer: And thankyou for your time. Next up, we have Avenged Sevenfold's Beast and the Harlot, followed by a live recording of William Shatner beating his wife.
