So, my "band" is starting to jam more. We found a cool place to jam (supposedly), found a drummer (supposedly), and now are finding songs to cover.

And so that's the bad news:

Maroon 5 :: Won't Go Home Without You
Weezer :: Say It Ain't So
Guns N Roses :: Sweet Child of Mine (My selection.)
Santana :: Put Your Lights On (My other selection.)
Red Hot Chili Peppers :: Dani California
Metallica :: Enter Sandman

So, we each give one more song. I'm afraid what they suggest. And if they stay Stairway, I think I might leave. Unless it's the Dave Grohl version.

Your band needs to lay off the fucking rock band crap

I can't beleive those picks

With the exception of maroon 5 and santana thats the most overplayed crap ever

What you guys should do is create your own song instead

It seems to me you all just like plain rock so make a plain rock song together

Playing other peoples songs = FAIL , especially when its overplayed other peoples songs

good luck trying to get paralyzer and hysteria to sound right

If you want to cover something, find some old song and turn it into a hard rock song. My band is doing Day Tripper and Free Fallin by Tom Petty, they both sound different and new.
