i have the same problem except for i have ps3 and i dont wanna buy GH3 cuz i already had it on PS2 (i sold all of my guitar hero games, controllers and my PS2 on ebay) so im gonna wait and play MLB 08 the Show instead.

If you can buy the right $20 worth of DLC, Rock Band is a better single-player guitar game than GH3, which is kinda sad.



So, I'd suggest:

GH2 -> Rock Band stand-alone -> prev. + drum kit ---------------> GH3
