Black Sabbath - "Kill In The Spirit World" [02:18 - 02:56] [Tony Iommi]
David Bowie - "Moonage Daydream" [03:14 - 04:27] [Mick Ronson] 8/10 - Haunting and epic. 9/10 - Fits the mood of the song almost perfectly. I'll listen to the others later. For now... Pink Floyd - "A Great Day for Freedom" [02:25 - 04:13] [David Gilmour]

| Here're mine: Kill In The Spirit World: 8. (Needs to be longer, and finish on the tonic note.) Perpetual Burn: 9. (Godly tapping... too short ) Fires at Midnight: 6. (Too overblown, the natural harmonics are questionable. Lovely tone and phrasing, though.) Moonage Daydream: 8. (YAY!) A Great Day For Freedom: 3. (I wasn't impressed, let's put it that way. Extremely boring solo, that.) Santeria: 7. (Good, needs to be longer.) | |

| Black Sabbath - "Kill In The Spirit World" 8.5 Jason Becker - "Perpetual Burn" 9 Blackmore's Night - "Fires at Midnight" 6 David Bowie - "Moonage Daydream" 9 Pink Floyd - "A Great Day for Freedom" 5 Sublime - "Santeria" 9. just because of the pure emotion. my spine tingles during this solo. and a new one: Stevie Ray Vaughan - "Little Wing" [Stevie Ray Vaughan, based on the composition by Jimi Hendrix] [the whole song is amazing, but my favorite part is 3:16 - 3:58] | |

The decimals are up there for the averages. And should I stick Little Wing up there with 3:16 - 3:58 as the solo in question?
