5. "New Again"- Taking Back Sunday
Although the loss of Fred is detrimental, their new guitar player has added a new musical direction and will definitely improve. Will I like the new sound as much? I don't know. So that's why it is number five.
4. "Not Without A Fight" - New Found Glory
Produced by someone who in my book happens to be a GOD, Mr. Mark Hoppus, this NFG album probably won't suck like most of their other ones. They will be bringing more of a slightly hardcore, and more catchy melody. I'm surprisingly anticipating this one.
3. (TBA) -NOFX
Nothing special about this one, as described by Fat Mike himself, "I'm not gonna give you some bullshit Tom Delonge line about my band changing the world, it sounds like a NOFX album". Although I found that quote to be hilariously awesome, that basically tells me that there's no way that this album could dissapoint.
2. (TBA)- Four Year Strong
I discovered Four Year Strong about half a year ago, and all of their catchy songs I love STILL have not gotten old after listening to them nonstop. Assuming FYS is the kind of band that will basically have all of their songs sound the same, the next album will be awesome too.
And now, a breif intermission before I reveal the number one, here are some honorable mentions, that probably won't be good as a whole but will have some good tracks.
"Fame, Fortune, and Fornication"- Reel Big Fish
(TBA)- +44
(TBA)- The Almost
AS you have been waiting for the number one most anticipated album of 09 isssss....
1. (TBA)- GREEN DAY
After buying their AP mag, I'm definitely stoked. Billie Joe Armstrong and Co. are genious and every Greeen Day album I think is good. After hearing about the recording process, and some track-by-track runby, there is no doubt that this album will make it's way into some of my top albums ever. I can't wait for the summer until this is released. This is a pre-order for me, and GD will NOT fail to impress. Trust me.
