| Pros:
- Character and instrument customization.
- The characters are less deformed.
- A lot of songs.
- Hayley Williams.
- The open note bass thing. Say what you will.
- Pull Me Under!
- Beat It!
Cons:
- lulz-y boss battles (Zakk Wylde and Ted Nugent)--if they got Van Halen in the game, why in the hell couldn't Van Halen be a boss battle?
- Some charts are horridly overcharted.
- Don't even try to sing vocals in this game... because you can't. While there is an option for "vocalists", it's so busted there's no point in trying. And yet it's not hard and impossible to fail because you get Star Power for singing every phrase and can still activate it whenever the hell you want.
- It's too difficult to determine what's going on in Band Mode. There's a shared Star Power pool, which is ridiculously stupid.
- Assassin. WTF?
- Have fun playing the new tappy sections with the OLD controllers. Yeah, not gonna happen.
- The tiering system is stupid. Because um... tiers don't exist.
WTFs: - Mountain Song on bass.
Fun songs to play: Hotel California. Pull Me Under. Beat It. Beautiful Disaster. Sweet Home Alabama. Do It Again. Stupidly Overcharted: Misery Business. Soul Doubt. Santeria. Crazy Train. Not Overcharted. Just unfun: BYOB. Assassin. Satch Boogie. Rating: 6.9/10

| Satch Boogie's not all that great.
I played it yesterday, just a few songs, and It wasn't bad. I didn't play any of the lame songs, though. Do It Again was the best song ever, followed by Love Spreads.
My friend only had the new guitar and not anything else, so I can only comment on the guitar, and it's awesome. Love the Wah pedal thingy and the tapping thing you can do with the slide bar.
However, the worst part is the animation of the characters. Venues look good though.
