Well...I was going to ask what guitar solos does he find epic....but then I remembered that he's a Led Zeppelin fan....

As for the Eruption thing... considering it was released when he was in his t eens, that obviously would've made a big impact on him. Sure, there are awesome solos now, but they weren't as easy to get a hold of back then. And without Eruption, I seriously doubt we would have had great shit like Laughing Gas, Seventeen, or whatever.

It's bad in the context of a solo, but considering the premature ideas that were nestled within the poor recording that other people turned into awesomeness, I think it has some redeeming factor.

Bad solo, but good for guitar in general.
