Right, I'm gonna give you two musicians, and you have to get from one to the other, following typical "6 Degrees..." rules.

However, all the degrees must be musicians, and all degrees are only one person. You will get helpful clues, and the link may occasionally have to go via a certain group or person, to make sure there aren't too many alternate routes.

For example, you could have:

[Person A] was in Thin Lizzy with [Person B] as one link, but not:
[Person A] was in [Band A], and [Person B] was also in [Band A] as two links.

For each round, there will be 12 points available. 1 point for each degree correctly guessed, and one for each correctly guessed link between degrees. These points could be split between numerous people, or taken fully by one guy.
